A consummate regulatory/technical specialist in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industries where she has held a number of senior management position with local and multinational companies (viz. Adcock Ingram, MSD and 3M), including Managing Director (responsible) for 3M for a period of 8 years.  Connie was a member of the Executive Committee of SAPRAA (Southern Africa Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Association) as well as a current member of PMA Scitech Committee (Science and Technology).

At 3M, she co-led a team that engaged in successful acquisitions of some of the leading branded product as well as successful outsourcing opportunities. She also led a team of Technical Services Engineers for 3M South Africa subsidiary as Technical Head for Sub Sahara Africa. She has personally visited and established relationships with the regulatory authorities in Mauritius, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

 On social responsibility aspect she successfully launched the HIV/Aids Program at 3M.

Connie studied BSc at the University of Venda, BPharm at the University of Limpopo, has undergone various management training with MAST some to mention but few being Negotiation Skills, Systems/Project Management, Leadership Skills Decision Making as well as Kepner Tregoe Management Programme with RMC. She has also qualified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.

She has successfully completed her Diploma in Business Management (Henley Management College (UK) and is currently finalising her MBA programme (currently writing her Dissertation) offered by Henley Management College (UK).
